Job Description:
Stepan Company is seeking enthusiastic individuals looking to build a career in sales with an education in chemistry or chemical engineering.
Sales Representatives focus on specific markets in a geographic region. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that existing customer accounts are managed successfully and new customer accounts are identified and opportunities are uncovered. Sales Representatives are expected to understand and communicate customer requirements at multiple interfaces, they need to coordinate efforts internally to deliver answers that enable customers to achieve their goals. They will forecast sales to enable operations planning and introduce product innovations. Sales Representatives maintain active memberships and involvement in industry organizations and associations.

Job Requirements :
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a science field (preferably chemistry or chemical engineering).
- Excellent verbal and written communications along with strong interpersonal skills are required.
- Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work independently from a remote/home office.
- Candidates must have the interest and willingness to travel and relocate for advancement opportunities.
- Candidates with oilfield sales experience preferred.
